FIRST SATURDAY DEVOTIONS AT I.C. Join us at 8:15am for Mass, Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Rosary, seasonal litany, and Benediction each First Saturday of every month. Mass, Exposition, Rosary, Seasonal Litany, and Benediction are currently celebrated Tuesdays through Fridays beginning at 8:15 a.m. in the Chapel.

VOCATION VIEWS

Please notify the Rectory if a family member is in the hospital or at home with a severe or prolonged illness. In accord with current privacy policies, hospitals do not inform us of parishioners entering the hospital; they call only at the patient’s request.

OOPS!
Last week’s bulletin reported that IC donations to the Mother’ Day Right to Life Flower Sale totaled $634. The actual amount was $364; many thanks to those who donated to this worthy cause.

FREE SPIRITS
The Free Spirits Memorial Mass, honoring deceased members of the Free Spirits, will be celebrated Saturday, June 2 at 5:00pm. After mass join us at MCL Cafeteria at 6:30pm. For information call Alice Schulte at 293-8773.

ROSARY ALTAR
Join the ladies of the parish for the Rosary Altar June Banquet on Tuesday, June 5 at 6:30pm in MSH. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children age seven and under. For information and to purchase tickets, call Ullainee Battigaglia at 256-3765.

ITE MISSA EST

MEMORIAL DAY
The Memorial Day mass for Region 6, Immaculate Conception and St. Helen’s, will be celebrated at St. Helen on Monday, May 28 at 9am. We hope you will join us.

CONTINUED RESTORATION FUND UPDATE
Our next project is replacing the church sound system including the baffles. The preliminary estimates are between $140,000.00--$160,000.00. Phase one of this project will be the removal of the old baffles, brickwork and installation of the new baffles. Phase two will be the removal of the old sound system, new wiring and installation of the new system. Please continue your generosity.

EDUCATION FUND UPDATE
The Education Fund currently has a matching grant program. For every two dollars donated to the Education Fund, a generous donor will match it with one dollar. Thank you for your support and generosity extended to the Education Fund. The monies currently being collected will allow IC to continue to have tuition aid available for our qualifying families in the future.

SCHOOL NEWS

MARKET DAY
Many thanks to all our parishioners who supported this PTO fundraiser during 2006-2007. Our profits for this school year were $1500.00! And thanks to outgoing Market Day chair Connie Johnson for her many years of service to the school and PTO.

FIELD DAY
Adult volunteers are needed to manage game stations, run relay races, organize and distribute picnic lunches. Please call the school office to volunteer, 253-8831.

CHS FUNDRAISER
On June 2, you can support CHS Football by participating in the first Football Golf Outing at Locust Hills Golf Course in Springfield. Cost is $75 per golfer and includes green fees, cart, dinner, and lots of fun. We are also seeking sponsorships and prize donations to make this a successful Patriot event. JULIENNE REUNION
The Julienne High School Alumnae reunion will be held on June 3 at the NCR Country Club. Mass will begin at 10:30am, followed by lunch at 12:00pm. The cost is $18 per person; RSVP to Shirley Portner at 254-1064 by May 25.

ATTENTION GARAGE SALERS:
Carroll High School’s band and guard is hosting a garage sale on Friday, June 8, from 9am—3pm in the CHS parking lot. SUMMER CAMP
Our Lady of the Rosary will hold their 18th annual summer day camp at the school June 13-July 27. It is open to children ages 5-13 who attend a Catholic school or parish; the fee is $15 per day. For more information see olrcamp.tz4.com, or call 660-5441.

CHS ALUMNI
Come join the Carroll High School Alumni Association at the Dayton Dragon’s game on Friday, Aug. 3 at 7pm. Meet at the Dragon’s Lair, the only outfield seating section that isn’t lawn seating! PARISH REGISTRATION/CHANGE OF ADDRESS
Visitors and Friends: Welcome to Immaculate Conception Church! The only sure way to become a registered member of the parish family is to fill out a registration form (below) or a pew card; drop either in the collection basket, or return it to the rectory office. There is no automatic registration if you attend mass regularly, or even if your children attend Immaculate Conception School or Immaculate Conception Religious Education Classes. If you have any questions please call the Rectory at 252-9919.
