CHILDREN’S
LITURGY OF THE WORD
The next Children’s Liturgy of the Word will be on May 25 at the 11:00am
and 6:00pm Sunday Masses. The Children’s
Liturgy of the Word is celebrated the second and fourth Sundays of each month
throughout the year. Children who are
5-10 years old are invited to participate in this activity. This ministry proclaims the scripture to the
children using the Children’s Lectionary.
The readings are similar to those read in Mass, but are expressed in
simpler form to allow the children a better understanding. The children have the opportunity to reflect
on these readings and how they pertain to their lives. Please pray for this ministry and the
children. We look forward to your
child’s participation.
FREE SPIRITS
The
next Free Spirits meeting will be Wednesday, May 14 at 1:00pm in MSH. The Ringing Tigers, bell ringers from the
Stivers School for Arts will be our entertainment. Please come and join us with a friend and

ST. VINCENT FOOD PANTRY

time you wondered where your next meal was coming from? Our St. Vincent DePaul food pantry hears daily
from our neighbors who are in need of food for their families. To help keep our shelves stocked, we have
placed a barrel in the main vestibule for you to drop your food and other
non-perishable donations. We appreciate
all you can give…but please, we CANNOT accept items that are past their
expiration dates.
ST. VINCENT DEPAUL CAR DONATION PROGRAM
Donate your vehicle
to St. Vincent DePaul and all the proceeds stay in our local community. The benefits help to transform the life of a
homeless person. St. Vincent offers free
title transfer, free vehicle pick up within 24 hours and the possibility of a
tax deduction. Please call 222-3661 for
more information.
BOY SCOUT
CAN DRIVE
Bring your aluminum cans to be recycled by the Boy Scouts in order to fund
an Eagle Scout Project to paint the school auditorium. Leave the cans by the door in between the two
