CHILDREN’S
LITURGY OF THE WORD
Children’s Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated during the second and
fourth Sundays of the month during the 11:00am Mass and every Sunday during the
6:00pm Mass. Children who are 5-10 years
old are invited to participate in this activity. This ministry proclaims the scripture to the
children using the Children’s Lectionary.
The readings are similar to those read in Mass, but are expressed in
simpler form to allow the children a better understanding. The children have the opportunity to reflect
on these readings and how they pertain to their lives. Please pray for this ministry and the
children. We look forward to your
child’s participation. If you would like
to volunteer to help with this program, please contact the rectory at 252-9919.

shall be opened to you.” We encourage
you to call the Prayer Chain anytime you, a friend, neighbor, or relative is in
need of prayer. We have a team of 13 people
who pray daily for all the requests we receive, and we invite you to join this
ministry. Call Mary Bochenek at 256-4737
to submit a prayer request or to join the team.
