CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD

Children’s Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated during the second and fourth Sundays of the month during the 11:00am Mass and every Sunday during the 6:00pm Mass.  Children who are 5-10 years old are invited to participate in this activity.  This ministry proclaims the scripture to the children using the Children’s Lectionary.  The readings are similar to those read in Mass, but are expressed in simpler form to allow the children a better understanding.  The children have the opportunity to reflect on these readings and how they pertain to their lives.  Please pray for this ministry and the children.  We look forward to your child’s participation.  If you would like to volunteer to help with this program, please contact the rectory at 252-9919.
