VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The 5:00pm Mass on Saturday evenings has a need for ushers.  If you regularly attend the 5:00pm Mass and are able to help, please contact George Johnson at 428-6036 or Fr. Geraci at 252-9919.

CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD

The next Children’s Liturgy of the Word will be on May 25 at the 11:00am and 6:00pm Sunday Masses.  The Children’s Liturgy of the Word is celebrated the second and fourth Sundays of each month throughout the year.  Children who are 5-10 years old are invited to participate in this activity.  This ministry proclaims the scripture to the children using the Children’s Lectionary.  The readings are similar to those read in Mass, but are expressed in simpler form to allow the children a better understanding.  The children have the opportunity to reflect on these readings and how they pertain to their lives.  Please pray for this ministry and the children.  We look forward to your child’s participation.

ITE MISSA EST UPCOMING EVENTS

Ite Missa Est will present “The Book of Genesis (Part II)… The Birth of the People of God” with speakers Dr. Jeff Morrow and Fr. Satish Joseph on May 14 in MSH (church lower level) at 7:00pm.  The third part of the series will be on June 11.  This Adult Faith Formation program meets on the second Wednesday of each month September through June and is open to all adults seeking to enhance their faith while developing a deeper understanding of what it means to live as a Christian in today’s world.  Snacks are provided.  IME invites you to join us and please bring a friend.  Please check out our website, itemissaest.org.  The website contains daily reflections, Sunday homilies and more!

PARISH COUNCIL NOMINATIONS
